Don’t miss this important luncheon featuring retired FBI agent Harry Trombitas. Drawing from his extensive career, Harry will share firsthand insights into the evolving world of cybersecurity, explain why the risks are greater and more urgent than ever, and discuss notable cases he worked on with direct ties to Ohio. In today’s digital landscape, understanding these threats is critical for businesses and organizations of all sizes—this is a timely opportunity to learn, ask questions, and gain perspective from someone who has been on the front lines.

Bio:

Harry Trombitas was born in Alliance, Ohio, and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and continued his education at Creighton University where he earned a master’s degree in counseling and psychology in 1982.  After serving as a police officer and Public Safety director in his career, Harry became an FBI Agent in 1983. 

Assigned to the Omaha, St. Louis, and New York Divisions before transfer to the Columbus Office in December 1991, he worked predominantly Violent Crime including Bank Robbery, Kidnapping, Serial Murder, Organized Crime, Crimes against Children, Criminal Profiling, Threat Assessment, and served partially as the FBI Columbus’ violent crime spokesperson until his retirement from the Bureau in 2012. 

Harry has also held positions as System Vice President of security Operations at OhioHealth, director of the Police Executive Leadership College (PELC) for the Ohio Association of the Chiefs of Police, and Sociology Lecturer at Ohio State University.
